The purpose of Brown Middle School's counseling department is to assist students in their academic, social, and emotional growth during the middle school years.  The counseling and guidance curriculum includes opportunities to promote student success in emotional intelligence which includes self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.
