Our incredible Falcon artists showed up and showed out! Their powerful pieces earned the highest ratings—but it didn’t stop there. During their interviews, judges were blown away by their knowledge, passion, and respectful presence. 🖤 “They create with their heart and passion. Their messages were evident throughout their pieces.” - Mrs. Garza❤️ We’re so proud of the talent, effort, and heart these students pour into their art. 🦅

Our Science Olympiad team soared to 28th place in the Texas state tournament at Texas A&M! 🧪🐟🌬️ 🏅 Top finishes included 9th place in Ichthyology (that’s fish!) and 9th in Wind Power—but even better? We beat last year’s score by 30 points! This team is growing stronger, smarter, and more determined with every competition. Huge shoutout to these curious minds for representing Fossum with pride and perseverance. 🦅📈

Join us on Saturday, April 12th from 8:00–10:00 AM for a morning of teamwork, school pride, and community spirit as we clean and beautify our campus! 🧹 We need your help! Bring any cleaning equipment, plants, or other helpful items to make our school shine. Every little bit makes a big difference! 🌱 Thanks to a generous donation from Home Depot, we’ll have mulch, soil, and plants to get us started — but we’d love your added touch! 💵 Bonus: Our school has a chance to win $500, and your participation helps us get there! 🍩 Breakfast is on us! 🚨 Testing Week is here, Falcons! 🚨 This upcoming week is crucial for all of our students at Fossum MS, and we need EVERY Falcon to be ready to soar! 🦅 ✨ RLA STAAR is this Wednesday, and it’s SUPER IMPORTANT that all students are present, not just Wednesday, but in the days leading up to it as well. The last few days of review and test-taking strategies are essential for success! 📱 Tuesday will be a Tech Check day to ensure everything is set for the test, and ALL after-school activities are canceled so that everyone can get home and rest up for the big day ahead. We know you are ready for this! Our amazing RLA teachers have been going above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to shine ✨ it’s going to be a great week, Falcons!
